Patrick Maubert


Patrick Maubert (he/they) is a musical theatre practitioner and social worker. They hold a Master’s in Musical Theatre Creative Practice from ArtsEd: City University of London and studied Musical Theatre at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy New York. They also earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Dalhousie University in Kjipuktuk (Halifax).


As a performer, Patrick toured internationally with The 12 Tenors and has worked with Musicals Tonight Off-Broadway, Tokyo Disneyland, Canada’s Wonderland, Theatre New Brunswick, and Neptune Theatre—most recently appearing as King Agnarr and Oaken in Frozen.

Patrick is the former Head of Voice at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts and has taught at Dalhousie University’s Fountain School of Performing Arts, Neptune Theatre School, Stagecoach Academy International, Ross Creek Centre for the Arts, and Theatre New Brunswick Theatre School. As an educator and director, they’ve worked with companies including No Strings Theatre (Toronto), A Friend of a Friend Productions (London), and the London Gay Men’s Chorus.

Patrick is a regular adjudicator at music and drama festivals across Canada, an award-winning educator, and the current Program Director at Brunswick Street Mission. They are passionate about accessible, community-rooted arts education.
